Description
Light sources are devices whose
primary function is to produce
visible or near-visible radiant
energy for general illumination
and specialty applications. They
include incandescent, fluorescent,
and high-intensity discharge (HID)
lamps, as well as solid-state
lighting (SSL) that may be pin- or
screw-based.
